Josh eats peanut butter for protein, energy, and in honor of March being National Peanut Butter Month. He also cools his happy feet while enjoying his food.

After approximately 2 hours of hiking, Josh stops to cool his feet. This is especially important at the beginning of the trail in order to condition them for the long journey.
